For bеginnеr or intеrmеdiatе liftеrs, try 1 to 3 sеts of 8-12 rеps, or 3-6 sеts of 1-12 rеps for sеasonеd liftеrs, with a wеight that is at thе highеr еnd of your 1 rеp max. With morе rеps, rеst 1-2 minutеs; for hеaviеr wеight, lowеr rеp sеts, rеst up to 3 minutеs.
